WCC Cumulative Impact Assessment

Westminster City Council have recently launched a consultation on its Cumulative Impact Assessment (CIA) as part of the wider ‘Westminster After Dark’ campaign.
The CIA across Westminster has been developed through engagement with stakeholders and multiple data sets to evidence the landscape of the hospitality industry across the city and to ascertain how the impact of licensed premises affects localised areas and communities as well as the licensing objectives.
At present, the Council do not intend to amend the Licensing Policy as a result of publishing the Cumulative Impact Assessment. They are simply seeking the views of stakeholders on the evidence which has been collated.
The consultation is due to conclude on 5th November 2023 and we would encourage all to provide comment, as this may lead to positive changes in the future.
